Information we receive from others
To place and service coverage, we may receive information about you from insurance carriers, wholesalers, managing general agents, other brokers, consumer reporting agencies, motor vehicle records, claims databases, and from professionals you direct us to work with, such as your attorney or CPA.
Information collected automatically through this website
This website does not set advertising or analytics cookies, does not run analytics or tracking pixels, and does not host contact or quote forms. As with virtually any website, our hosting provider processes standard technical request data, such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested, to deliver the site and maintain its security.
3. Third-Party Resources This Website Loads
This site loads certain resources from third parties. When your browser requests them, those providers receive technical information such as your IP address and browser type. They are:
- Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com, fonts.gstatic.com) — typography
- Unsplash (images.unsplash.com) — photography
- Superhuman Calendar (calendar.superhuman.com) — only if you choose to click through to schedule a consultation
These providers handle that information under their own privacy policies, which we do not control. Scheduling a consultation takes place on a third-party platform; information you enter there is governed by that provider's policy.
4. How We Use Information
- To respond to your inquiries and communicate with you
- To obtain quotes, submit applications, and place coverage with insurance carriers
- To service your policies — endorsements, certificates, renewals, audits, and billing
- To support you during a claim, including documentation and carrier follow-up
- To review your program and recommend coverage
- To comply with applicable law, insurance regulation, and our licensing obligations
- To maintain the security and integrity of our records and systems
5. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share information only as needed to do the work you have engaged us to do, or as the law requires:
- Insurance carriers, wholesalers, MGAs, and other brokers — to obtain quotes, bind, and service coverage
- Service providers — agency management, document storage, email, and similar vendors acting on our behalf and bound to protect the information
- Professionals you designate — your attorney, CPA, or other advisors, at your direction
- Claims participants — adjusters and carrier claims personnel when you have a claim
- Regulators and legal process — insurance departments, or in response to a subpoena, court order, or other legal obligation
- Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of our business, subject to this policy
6. Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act Notice
As an insurance producer, we are a financial institution under the federal Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act ("GLBA"). Information you provide us that is not publicly available is treated as nonpublic personal information ("NPI").
We do not disclose NPI about our clients or former clients to anyone except as permitted or required by law, or as described in this policy. We restrict access to NPI to those employees and service providers who need it to provide products and services to you, and we maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards intended to protect it.
This notice is provided in connection with our GLBA obligations and applies to current and former clients alike.
7. Health Information
If we assist you with life, disability, or employee benefits coverage, we may receive health-related information. We treat this information as confidential and use it only to place and service that coverage, or as authorized by you or required by law. Where we act as a business associate of a group health plan, applicable HIPAA requirements govern our handling of protected health information.
8. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal information. Residents of states with comprehensive privacy laws — including California, Colorado, Texas, and others — may have the right to:
- Know what personal information we have collected and how we use and disclose it
- Access or obtain a copy of that information
- Correct inaccurate personal information
- Request deletion, subject to exceptions
- Opt out of sale or targeted advertising — note that we do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising
- Not be discriminated or retaliated against for exercising these rights
To make a request, contact us using the details in Section 13. We will verify your identity before responding, and we will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law. An authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf with proof of authorization.
9. Telephone, Text, and Email Communications
If you give us your telephone number, you consent to our contacting you at that number about your insurance, including by call or text. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out of texts by replying STOP, and out of marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link or contacting us directly. We may still send you transactional messages about your policies, claims, and billing.
10. Data Security
We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please do not send Social Security numbers, financial account numbers, or health information by unsecured email; contact us and we will provide a secure method.
11. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide our services and to meet our legal, regulatory, tax, accounting, and recordkeeping obligations — including insurance record retention requirements — and to resolve disputes or enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed, we dispose of it securely.
12. Children's Privacy
This website is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. We may hold information about minors as dependents or beneficiaries under a policy, which we treat as client information under this policy. If you believe a child has provided us information directly, please contact us and we will delete it.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as our practices or the law change. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be reflected on this page; we encourage you to review it periodically.
